Meet Stephanie Kusie
Born and raised in the riding, Stephanie Kusie has significant experience in business, government and the non-profit sector.
As a diplomat for the federal government, Stephanie worked on the Keystone pipeline project in the United States, helped negotiate free trade deals, and lobbied the United Nations to place Canada on the Security Council.
Most recently, Stephanie served as the Executive Director of Common Sense Calgary, a local non-profit organization that helped convince City Hall to freeze residential property taxes in 2017. During her time with Common Sense Calgary, Stephanie proposed a number of constructive ideas to reduce taxes and improve city services.
Stephanie has an MBA from Rutgers University and is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Stephanie and her husband James have one son, Edward.
